Maria Perrin is a leading strategist with a track record of helping organizations achieve high growth and build powerful brands. She specializes in brand development, digital marketing, public awareness campaigns, and market strategy. Prior to Gide, she was with HMS Holdings (NASDAQ: HMSY) where she was Chief Marketing Officer. At HMS, she was successful in launching dozens of products, capturing more than 200 government and commercial contracts, and developing HMS as a leading health IT brand. Previously, Maria was Senior Vice President, Marketing and Sales for Performant Financial Corporation (NASDAQ: PFMT), and has also held marketing and operational roles for Bestfoods, Nissan, Starbucks and other consumer products companies. She has a BA in Economics from UCLA and an MBA from the University of Miami.
Elizabeth (Liz) has two decades in public policy work with clients as diverse as the New Orleans YMCA, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Liz specializes in state and local issues management and advocacy. Her expertise includes industry and community relations, licensing, regulatory strategies, business development and communications. Liz graduated with her BA in Political Science focused on International Political Economy and her JD, both from Tulane University. She practiced law in areas including health care, finance, banking and real estate. This served as the foundation for her positions with Health Management Systems Inc., where she managed a portfolio of audit and compliance-centered services for 15 state government clients during the advent of U.S. Health Care Reform. Most recently she led the strategic partnership agenda for a publicly traded IT company.
Arika's career has crossed every facet of public relations and government for the past 15 years. She specializes in strategic communications, advocacy campaigns, and coalition management. Prior to co-founding Gide, Arika was VP of Federal and State Government Relations at HMS Holdings where she was charged with establishing the company’s presence in DC, building relationships with members of Congress, and leading an integrated government relations program that was incorporated across business lines. Arika also worked as a lobbyist in the Federal Affairs Department of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Her career began on Capitol Hill where she served as a Congressional Staffer for Senator John Breaux, the Senate Special Committee on Aging and the Senate Subcommittee on Permanent Investigations. She holds a JD from the George Washington University Law School and a BA in political science from Louisiana State University.
